First Collection Launch by Rowena Somerville

Mudfog is launching a first collection by Rowena Somerville, singer and former director of Cleveland/Teesside Arts.’Melusine’ is to be launched Friday 17 September at 7pm at Shanti Cafe, Saltburn.

On Friday 13th December Mudfog holds a Teeside launch for Mike Pratt’s new publication North Facing.

The event will be held at Saltburn Bookshop, Book Corner from 7pm. The full address is 24 Milton Street, Salburn, TS12 1DG

New Mike Pratt Publication To Launch

On Monday November 25th  Mudfog launches a new collection by environmentalist Mike Pratt at the Books On Tyne Festival, in Central Library Newcastle, at 2pm.

Also reading will be Emily Willis and Robin Moss, also published by Mudfog.

Jam Jar Cinema Event In May

Lesley Mountain will be reading at Free As A Bard, the poetry event at Jam Jar Cinema in Whitley Bay on Sunday 19 May, at 8pm.She’ll be reading from ‘Vamoose’ which we published and also other and new poems.

Reading In May

Mudfog Editor Pauline Plummer and published poet Mel McEvoy will be reading at the Wirral Poetry Festival of Firsts on May 10th and 11th.  Mel will read some poems from his Mudfog publication ‘Emptied Space’ as well as new work.

Recently published poet Robin Moss (Mastering the Art of Imperfection) reads at JamJar Cinema, Whitley Bay, September  6 7.30 and with poet Marilyn Longstaff (The Museum of Spare Parts) at Queens Hall, Hexham, 27 September.
